Atlantic Commercial Materials (ACM) was founded by James MacFarlane in 2000 to meet the increasing demands for vessel support services. Jim has over 30 years of experience in the maritime industry. As a ship agent earlier in his career, Jim acquired the knowledge to understand the complexity of vessel in port requirements, which enables ACM to quickly respond and solve typical logistical problems that may arise.
Our primary focus is the facilitating agency support services for the Ports of Philadelphia and Wilmington, Delaware. We offer support services to ship agents and owners. Dunnage
Compliant, Reliable and Cost-Effective
Thirty (30) yard open top containers are delivered for removal of wooden dunnage meeting ISPM 15 international standards as regulated by USDA. ACM pricing includes our coordinating transportation of containers for removal to a licensed disposal facility.
ACM coordinates closely with the Port Manager to make sure the dunnage is switched out in an efficient and timely manner. We take all of the guesswork out of the pricing. ACM will provide you with all waste slips to ensure accurate billing.
For non-compliant dunnage, as designated by a USDA emergency action notice (EAN), 40 yards closed USDA compliant containers will be provided to load the dunnage, transport the dunnage, and incinerate the dunnage in full compliance with the USDA compliance agreement. Certified documentation will be provided to the USDA to satisfy the USDA emergency action notice.
